Wow, I was in Hanko on 3rd of July and I was thinking if you have ever been there making photos. I remembered some photos from the lighthouse. So, we were there almost at same day, me more like a tourist and shooting with my camera like crazy and the results you can see in the site that can be viewed by clicking the link with my name. As you can see, the quantity compensates the quality when it's about my photos :) Hanko is a very beautiful town, this was my first time there and I was like abroad!

Tomi, actually we were in Hanko on the same day, because I stayed there from the 2nd until the 6th of July. I checked your photos from Hanko and noticed that you've visited several of my favourite places. I've been in Hanko every summer since 1975, when my parents bought a small flat in the big white villa called Bellevue, which is seen in your picture. During recent years, though, I haven't had the chance to spend as much time in Hanko as I previously used to do. I love Hanko!

This week I visited the lighthouse of Gustavsvärn for the first time. I saw that you too have a picture of the lighthouse island. My picture(s?) from the little island will come up soon... Also, we both took a picure of the one and same bench on the beach. I had already decided not to publish that one, so let's be glad you did, though. :) I first thought we both had taken a picture of the same wooden boat, too. Your boat and my boat look almost similar, but there are in fact a few differences. Just wait until I publish my picture of the boat and you'll see what I mean... :)

Thank you Beverly for for such a nice words :) And hopefully you visit my page also in the future. And to Niklas, I want to give a big THANK YOU for the inspiration, You are the man.. I have been following this site now propably 2 years almost every day and in any connection I am with my foreign friends I try to advertise this site, especially when they ask "How is it like in Finland?" or "How's the weather in Finland". I try to make my comments here in the english side to keep discussion alive also on this side :) I wish more people from abroad would visit and give comments. This Hanko incident was very nice, we had really been walking on the same beach at same time shooting same targets :) Hanko is great and you are very lucky you have a possibility stay in those villas. We were wondering how it is possible to stay in those, are they private or is it possible to rent for example for a holiday. Now I know :) Hanko would be perfect summer holiday resort. I was amazed.
