Kotka: Noctilucent clouds in the northern night sky above Kotka city in southeastern Finland. The clouds composed of small ice particles lie in the mesopause at a height of about 80 km.

light is utterly brilliant- certainly my favorite of all your pictures so far. You are becoming an amazing artist with your camera. I've learned a lot about my own picture taking, just by studying and enjoying your stuff. Your site is wonderful; I hope you keep it up!
