
Helsinki: A juvenile sea gull and steamship s/s Hyöky berthed at the Market Square quay in the South Harbour. The ship built 1912 in St. Petersburg was 1933-1959 a lightship named Helsinki.

There's also another red ship but smaller in the webcam view. Is is also a light ship?

Yep, it's a former lightship named Relandersgrund. Nowadays it serves as a restaurant boat in the city of Kotka, where it has the nickname Rellu. More information: http://hhlweb.biz/00-relandersgrund.htm.
Both ships are in Helsinki because of the upcoming annual Baltic Herring Fair (pdf).

I am a lightship enthusiast from Germany, looking for details about the lightship RELANDERSGRUND. Could you please tell me, if the lightship is still in Helsinki or if it went back to Kotka?
