Helsinki: Residential buildings in Merihaka district and a smokestack of Hanasaari power station. This view from Kruununhaka district represents a side of Helsinki not usually seen in my pictures.
Niklas, i see the buildings in helsinki usually don't have any satellite dishes. Don't you have digital satellite television broadcasting? Maybe you go with cables?
It's quite strange for me, as i live in italy an all of our residential buildings are filled up with any kind of antenna (a very very bad behaviour that makes houses look like porcupines).
If you had made the same photo to Milan or Rome you wouldn't have obtained the same result.

The thing is that Finns mostly don't watch TV at all... based on my experience!:) they like to relax in another way. We also have to remember that television causes degradation...

Well, we Finns do watch TV a lot. Maybe less than in many other countries, but too much, nevertheless. :) And yes, most buildings in Helsinki have digital cable TV.

Niklas: These, and the following shots of Herttoniemenranta are the shots that I really love from Helsinki. The landscapes are great, but the stuff that I can't see on the tourism websites is this, and other shots on the streets. With people. This rocks. More please.
