Helsinki: Signs of winter on the southern shore of Töölönlahti inlet in Etu-Töölö district. There's still no snow, but cold and calm nights have created a thin layer of ice on the bay.

What an interesting seasonal "event". I'm not sure whether our lake ice (in Canada) behaves the same way as in the sea? I'll have to be more observant.
