Sorry Niklas, but this is not a photo that makes me say... Wow! Ok.,its a nice, good picture! I love most of your pictures! But I get a bit curious when I read the ´latest comments´ and see that you have 6 comments in Finnish. I see that often, no comments in English but many in Finnish. Does it makes a difference if you know the place? Ofcource you have more fans in your own country, I know and understand, but what do these people say about this photo. What is their comment? I hate it when I can't read it! Wood you translate it for me once? Not a litteral translation but more general. Just to kill my curiosity. Love Gré

Hi Gré! Maybe it's time for you to start a new hobby. Welcome to the wonderful and challenging world of Finnish language! ;)

@ Lasse: Challenging is the right word indeed. I've been trying for 3 years now, and I still hardly understand anything. Moving to Finnland maybe would fasten the process...

Gré, the lack of English comments is a natural consequence of the fact that three of four visitors read the Finnish version of my site. The comments seem to be distributed likewise, or perhaps even less than 1/4 of the comments are written in English. I think that's a pity, and I really encourage all of you to write more comments in English!
I'll try to explain the Finnish comments for you. Jukka1 thinks this is a futuristic view that could be from another planet, if it weren't for the familiar neon signs. Heli writes that it's a good picture. Helen likes the composition and writes that she had seen the moon and been expecting a photo of it here. Melita likes the balance, the cleanliness and the colours. Teemu never gets tired of photos of the moon, and just like me, he thinks the full moon is always beautiful. Taru thanks me for a pearl and writes I was close to her, so I presume she knows the place and probably lives near the shopping centre.
Please, don't ask for any more translations! :)

I'm a fan from great constructions/buidings. Helsinki is a city, so it's inevitable to take phots with kind of constructions on it … and I like to see parts of the city. Although I like pure nature shots you've made too. It's not the object which makes a goot photo, it's the kind of viewing and cropping, which transform photos to real art.

Niklas, thanks for the explenation. I won´t ask you again to do it. I do understand the comments now better. The moon is always a wonderful object but I don´t like the building. I agree with Maja that its not the object itself that makes a good photo but the setting you put it in that makes it perfect.
And the Finnish language is very difficult I know, I tride it again with your explanation but stil I don't recognize a word of the comments. I know a bit Ikea Swedish and some Norwegian words from a friend and that, in some kind of way, sounds familiar. Finnish is abracadabra to me because of a other origin than the Scandinavion language I think. So I will give up the idea that I can ever learn to understand your language and keep it to the English comments, wich I love to read.

I have to admit that it is all above the building that makes me love the picture. It's great, Niklas!
