Finland is also very/too early with the Christmas decoration. On the other hand I love this time of the year, can't be long enough.
I like the way you have put the comments directly under the photo's, its better!
Oh yeah, nice picture, lots to do in this street. Museum, restaurant and a toilet. I wood love to book for tomorrow evening.

As far as i remember it is a phone booth, not a toilet, isn't it :-) But either way, it is a wonderful place and i wish i was there!!

While looking at this warm picture - although foggy - I get a feeling of koti-ikävä to Helsinki...

I really like this photo. I recommend you to see Jim Jarmusch film "Night on Earth" where the last short story happens in Helsinki, and the episode starts with similar gloomy atmosphere on Senate Square, where Matti Pellonpää plays a taxi driver who drives around the square in foggy, humid, gloomy winter night. This picture reminded me about that film.

By the way, Niklas, if you like, you can click my name to see my new life in DeviantArt :) I am sorry I haven't commented for a while but I still check your photos as a first thing after switching on my computer.

Hello,

I know only a few words in Finnish but I understand that you publish a 2007 seinikalenteri .... and we from the other countries cannot buy it. What a pity !!!!

Thank you all for your comments! Actually the phone booth Michaela mentioned isn't visible in this photo, since it's at the other end of the street. The booth in the front is neither a phone booth or a toilet. Perhaps someone knows was it is?

Brigitte, yes, I'm making a wall calendar with my photos for next year. I'm sorry I haven't told you about it in the English section of my site. I've been very occupied with the calendar during the last days, which is the reason why I haven't published any new pictures. The calendar is bilingual (Finnish/English), size A3, and has 12 photos of size A4 (one for each month). The price including shipping abroad is 25-30 €. Please let me know if you're interested in buying a calendar. In that case, please be prepared to pay it on my bank account in advance!

The booth must be built over the well, in German Brunnenhaus.
