You're right about the channel, but actually it's not the right word for it, because it's not man-made. The strait at Kustaanmiekka separates two islands, so the shore behind the ship belongs to another island.

Theo, I saw on TV that you have a huge storm in Germany right now, and soon it will move on to Eastern Europe. Finland, on the other hand, is going to get a portion of cold air in the next days, and perhaps even a little snow.
