Seltjarnarnes, Iceland: View towards Reykjavík from the tower of Grótta lighthouse in Seltjarnarnes. Due to alternating high and low tides the lighthouse stands either on an island or at the end of a headland. At low tide, when this photo was taken, the island is connected to the mainland by an isthmus covered with seaweed. The buildings in the front served as accommodation for our group during the first and the last night of our trip around Iceland.

It looks like a miniature landscape! Most unreal but truly stunning.
