Haukadalur, Iceland: Strokkur, one of the geysers (hot springs) in Haukadalur, and steam caused by its recent eruption. Strokkur ejects a column of hot water in the air every 5 to 10 minutes. Nowadays it's much more active than its near neighbour, Geysir, which has given its name to this type of hot springs. Haukadalur is located in the southwestern part of Iceland.
