Dyrhólaey, Iceland: The lighthouse of Dyrhólaey, built in 1927, standing on a more than 100 metres (330 feet) high promontory near the southernmost point of Iceland. Far in the background is a sharp-pointed island called Reynisdrangar. A view from the same spot in the opposite direction was seen in the previous picture.

Evi, thanks for your comments! Actually I didn't climb up there, and I'm glad I didn't, since the wind was awfully strong. I had to "hang" in my tripod when shooting this picture, because otherwise the wind would have blown away both me and my camera. :)

What a wonderful blue colour the sky has on this picture. The architecture of the lighthouse reminds me of the Mediterranean.
