While it may be inelegantly named, I just checked online and discovered that this beautiful sky and sea color at sunset is known as "sandy brown." The color is so much prettier and evocative than its name. I love the photo, but I have trouble imagining spending the winter months in a place where the sun rises so late and sets so early in the day. I recognize that the long summer days are a wonderful compensation, but still....
