Helsinki: The rising moon in the darkening evening sky above a hill on Kustaanmiekka, one of the Suomenlinna fortress islands. This combination of ten pictures taken every three minutes shows the movement and the brightening of the moon. View from Susisaari island about 1½ days before the full phase of the moon.

@nui: Well I asked Niklas once, how he does it, and he even answered. But it never comes out the same way, when I try. So Jagoda is right, Niklas can do miracles ;-)
It really looks great. Like the moon being a rocket shooting into the sky, but then, maybe that's what it is...

The moon itself is amzing enough, but for me it's the 'ghosts' that fascinate in this picture.

@Maria: yeah, I remember your question and his answer. That was why I am wondering :) :) So, @Jagoda: I agree with you :)

Thank you all for your comments!
As I've told you before, the moon looks big when everything else looks small. That is best achieved by being as far away as possible from the other objects seen in the photo. It's really just that simple! :)
If you're wondering why I haven't published any new photos this week, the main reason for that is that the weather in Helsinki continues to be grey and rainy, which isn't inspiring at all. :(
