Thanks for your comments! I had quite a powerful zoom, and the bird also let me very close, so there was no need for standing still.

I didn't know jackdow had blue eyes till now :) Great pic!

Nui, thanks. I just read that only young jackdaws have blue eyes. Later their eyes gradually turn to a more silvery shade.
