You had a very busy day at Vasteboland. Are you there for your holidays or just one day out?
It's a beautiful municipality, as seen on your pictures.
Great, thanks.

Gré, I spent two days driving along the Archipelago Ring Road during midsummer. The ring road passes through many islands, which are connected to each other either by bridges or ferries. On the first day I was driving on the southern half, and on the second day on the northern half of the ring road.

By the way, the town of Väståboland was formed this year out of five island municipalities, Pargas, Nagu, Korpo, Houtskär and Iniö.

My sons live in Pargas. It's a beautiful area (apart from the enormous quarry which tends to deposit grey dust everywhere). They seem very happy there. I always laugh that Pargas is classed as a city with a population of 12,000. I tell them it's a 'one horse town where the horse got bored and left'!
