Espoo: Purjeet (Sails), a sculpture planned by architect Anne Eerola, standing along Länsiväylä highway near Otaniemi district in Espoo, the western neighbouring city of Helsinki. The sculpture made of perforated aluminium is 27 metres heigh and weighs about 9 tons.

I like that big sail, although I suppose, it is stable and does not turn in the wind...

Yes, unfortunately the sail is stable. It would be very cool if it turned with the wind!

every morning passing the sail on the way to bembole, the little red cafe house. Beautiful memories become vivid. Do more.
