Beautiful winter picture, it looks very cold to me.
It´s on a island but how do you come there, by boot
or is there a little ferry?

Gre,
You should try the "on the map" feature that Niklas has added. It shows you exactly where he was standing when he took the picture. You can either use the regular map or the satelite picture and even zoom in to see really well where the photo was taken. It's a great feature! Almost makes you feel like you're right there taking the picture with Niklas.
He's a genius as well a a great photographer!!

Gre, there is a boat, and when it is cold enough, that the sea freezes, then you can walk over the ice to get there. Which is quite an interesting experience when you come from a "warmer" region.

Maria ("m") is right. Actually there is also a temporary bridge connection to the islands between November and April, so you don't have to wait until the sea freezes.

Ohhh This photo and others you have in your blog gives me such good memories!!

I used to leave in Finland some years ago, very close to Kaivopuisto.... I remember Sunday walks from Carrusel to Ursula and when the ice was hard enough I went also to this spot you have in the photo...
I was freaking out the first time I walked over the ice :) (I am Spaniard and we dont have much of it here :D) but I just walked on Finns steps :D

Really nice photos!!
