Helsinki: View along Mannerheimintie street from the roof terrace of Torni (Tower), a hotel near the city centre. The landscape is illuminated by the setting sun and hazy weather.

Interesting contrast with the previous two pictures. Hardly looks like the same city let alone the same day a few minutes later. Brings back memories.

Stunning :-) Kiasma looks like half a giant bowl in that light. And I'm wondering what is taller, the olympic tower or Torni Hotel?

In 1909, a new hospital was established in Helsinki by four Finnish and Finnish-minded doctors. The new hospital was given the name Mehiläinen, after a character in the Kalevala epic tale. Mehiläinen was the one to find the healing balms that Lemminkäinen’s mother used to save her injured son’s life.

Well, maybe 'mehiläinen' can't be descibed exactly as a 'character', as it means a bee ;)
