Emma, I was thinking the same, but then I thought Maria was perhaps referring to something else than this photo from July. Were you, Maria? I find it interesting that in the Finnish comments Tuula pointed out, that the light here reminds her about autumn. Perhaps there is a confusing, secret touch of autumn in this photo? Does someone agree?

The sun is shining the same way it does in autumn: from below, as you said, Niklas. But - or because of that? - the colours are somehow rather "cold" in this picture. If I didn`t know, when the picture was taken I would guess that in early Autumn. Some of the trees in Pihlajasaari are brown and the light is not warm?

Actually those trees in Pihlajasaari are those conifer trees, which were killed by the drought of 2006. That was very typical on those kinds of rocky hills and it shows further very clearly in many places such as this. So to me only the low direction of the light might have a autumnal feeling. But those trees in the front are very summery looking, because there are Norway Maples among there, which otherwise are having at least a touch of autumn colours allready in early autumn.

Oh, this picture was taken in July? Sorry, I did not look carefully, just saw the picture, it's September and thought, it was taken - now.
Well, that makes me wonder: I don't remember the wheather being that nice in July...
