Helsinki: A summer morning's southern view over the roofs of Punavuori district towards Harmaja lighthouse and the Gulf of Finland. Photo taken from a roof terrace upon a building situated on Korkeavuorenkatu street.

I love these views from above the rooftops! It has a completely differently feeling than being down on street level. The sea sure looks a lot bigger from this angle.
Can anyone go up to these places to have a look around or do you need special permission? Next time I'm in Helsinki I want to find a place with a view like this. Thanks again!!

Shane, this photo is taken from a private terrace, but hotel Torni is a good alternative. Note, however, that you need a powerful zoom or binoculars for a view like this.

Your pictures are amazing! I'm getting homesick here in London:)
