I love this type of picture, Nik. (I think you took a similar one a year or so ago - different place, same style). The spotless, deserted streets and lighting give it a futuristic feel and the reflection of the advertising hoarding in the 'ghost' of the tram is very effective. Was that intentional?

Iain, thank you! Actually the similar one was taken not more than 6 months ago.

I was hoping the tram would stop for a moment so that its contours would appear in the photo, but unfortunately there were no passengers. This was the case for all three trams I waited for. The reflection you asked about wasn't intentional - I first noticed it at home.

I stand corrected. 18th March if anyone wants to compare and contrast!

Ihanaa että Helsinki on saanut uutta raitiolinjaa. Minun täytyy mennä taas ensi vuonna Itä-Pasilaan, mutta nyt jo uudella ratikalla numero 9 :)
