Emma, I assume it's just some kind of Christmas lighting. I agree it looks quite "strong" in a white landscape like this.

A tram driving on snow - not on rails. Only the track can be seen. She must levitate.
Overall a picture which brings us calmness and peace. At the right time.
A busy town relax.

I love this photo! It's the way I like to think of "winter in the city," any northern city, but your photographs make Helsinki seem like a very special place in all seasons.
