Helsinki: A frozen sea landscape seen from the shore of Kustaanmiekka, the southernmost of the Suomenlinna islands, almost an hour after sunset. The two brightest objects in the night sky, the planets Jupiter (left) and Venus (right), are clearly visible close to each other.

Melissa and Robert, thanks for your comments! The time of sunset that day was 18:03, 48 minutes before the photo was taken. Today, 16 days later, the sun sets 40 minutes later (18:43).

Hi, I kinda excited every time I visit your gallery, and fully agree with Melissa :)
One question though: do you use a lot of post-processing (i.e. Photoshop) before we see end result?

Niklas Sjöblom

Sarka & Andrej, thank you for your comments!

Andrej, yes, post-processing naturally plays a significant role in my photography.
