Helsinki: The full moon on the edge of a fortification wall on Kustaanmiekka, the southernmost of the Suomenlinna islands. The fortification can also be seen in my earlier photos, see 13 September 2005 and 10 January 2007.

I grind my teeth in shameless envy at your glorious and amazing moon shots. I have followed them for years, trying to figure out how to get that wonderful detail. Even with spot exposure, all I ever get is a mushy blur.
Wonderful stuff! Keep it coming- you are a marvelous ambassador for your beautiful country. If your tourist bureau is not paying you, they should be!

Dave, thanks for your encouraging comment! Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau keeps buying my pictures once in a while, but as you implied, I'm sure they could do a little better than that. ;)
