Helsinki: An icy detail in a tree on the seashore of Skatanniemi headland in Uutela, Vuosaari district. Freezing winds had caused instant freezing of the splashing seawater.

My God this looks scary! Scary and amazing! It looks like a spine of some creature...caught sitting by the water, looks as if still alive...reminds me so much of Giger's images, the metal shine, texture, the black background...so Alien-like, incredible! Compliments :)

Marta, I agree with you, it looks a bit like a Giger sculpture. That reminds me, there even is a little Giger sculpture on an island in Helsinki (Harakka, if I remember correctly).
